When the coronavirus pandemic began, Princeton University's Pace Center for Civic Engagement reached out to Chromata to develop a website that would enable their summer internship students to connect and reflect online. After coordinating with the center to determine site functions, we developed an online platform and visual identity that enables Pace students to create discussion forums and blog posts related to their summer civic-engagement activities. The platform promotes thoughtful reflection around service, with the goal of fostering greater community engagement. After the platform's initial success during the summer of 2020, we revamped the site again for the Pace Center in 2021.
